2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Sportbike on 2040-motos
Triumph Daytona tech info
Triumph Daytona description
Up for sale is my 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Triple in Graphite Gray. Its been used sparingly and only has about 4,900 miles (may go up as I still ride the bike sometimes). It has never been laid down. This is a rare motorcycle with low miles and with tasteful cosmetic modifications. The drivetrain of the bike is 100% stock, including the exhaust (which is usually the first to be replaced). Thus, the bike ends up looking better than it did in stock form while maintaining factory stock drivetrain reliability. It really is a great pleasure to ride. Just recently changed the oil with Motul 300V 4T Factory Line 10w-40 and an OEM Triumph oil filter. I also drained and replaced the coolant and the brake fluid (front and rear). Chain is always lubed with Dupont Teflon Chain Saver every 500 miles. It was always garage kept and has never been laid down. It was washed and waxed after every ride. Ive always put the highest grade 100% gasoline (no ethanol) on it. All recalls and warranty work are up-to-date and has been done by an official Triumph dealer (receipts are included for verification). I truly cared for this bike and I never thought I would ever sell it. I have all maintenance records and documents (including the owners manual) that came with the bike when it was new. The bike has a clean and clear WI title in hand. Dont miss out on your chance to own this rare, low mileage motorcycle. 2010 Triumph Speed Triple exhausts tested
Thu, 17 Jun 2010Over the last month I’ve been busy trying out some of the exhausts available for the Speed Triple. Apart from being very easy to fit, they all claim power gains of around 8bhp and give substantial weight savings. It’s worth noting at this point that Triumph only recommend Arrow cans and discourage the fitting of slip on exhausts especially if they are not mapped to the bike.
Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.
Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.
Fri, 13 Jan 2012Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
