This is a 1972 Triumph Daytona 500cc Hill climber, owned and last run by Charlie McGowan in 1990
Has sat un touched since last run, Was in a private collection, Waiting on paperwork from American motorcycle association  on Carlie McGowan.

This is how it sat in a warehouse since 1990. We haven't attempted to fire it up, or clean it.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

I've just come back to the hotel after our first day riding the Tiger 800 with the other Brit journos. One of the journos (who shall remain nameless, but alas, it wasn't me) crashed at low speed. Pictured here is his bike.

Fans will see an action-packed weekend full of on-track activities when AMA Pro Road Racing returns to Barber Motorsports Park for the Triumph Superbike Classic presented by America’s First Federal Credit Union June 21st-22nd. The Triumph Superbike Classic will be the debut of AMA Pro Road Racing’s new two-day schedule. Riders and teams will be under qualifying conditions the first time they take to the beautiful and technical 17-turn, 2.38 mile permanent road course located in Birmingham, Alabama.
