Triumph Bonneville description
Selling our 2007 model Triumph Bonneville, America. The engine is an 865cc parallel twin, the mileage is 12,246, and the bike runs and rides great.
It just passed a North Carolina state inspection last month and mechanically is need of nothing.
The bike has not been wrecked or damaged in any way and it looks great. The only item of note is the little green lens that fits over the turn signal indicator light needs to be replaced. It departed the bike somewhere on our last ride and we just haven't made it by the Triumph store to order another one.
This is a great bike that is very smooth and really stable at speed. It is currently set up as a single seat bike, but we do have the passenger seat as well and it is included in the purchase as well.
Please call 704.907.0857 or e mail through E Bay with any questions and thanks for looking!

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Thu, 24 Mar 2011Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.
Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
