Triumph Bonneville description

First year for the 750cc engine! First year front disc brake! Five speed!

One of the cleanest Bonny's you'll ever come across. Check the pics closely.Built in the mid 80's as a Custom Show Bike. I purchased from guy who built it a few years ago. Been in storage for 20+ years. I went thru bike and got it running. Then handed it over to Steve Silverman at Myers Cycle in Kensington,Md., 30+ years as a expert Triumph tuner. I have started, warmed up and shut down engine about a dozen times, retightened/checked head and cylinder bolts. I have only put approximately 10 miles on the bike. Making sure throttle, brakes, clutch, shifting are working okay. Runs strong. Starts and idles nicely!

Some of the details of the bike;Paint- Candy Wineberry over Gold w/gold lettering &striping. DiD aluminum rims, One inch bars and controls, Tons of Chrome-nuts/bolts,sidecovers,rocker boxes, hubs/spokes,head/tl.light,carb tops/bowls.etc.etc. Lots of polished aluminum- Engine cases, Lower fork legs, carb bodies. Gold plating-head/tl.lt rings, lower rear shock springs, frt, brk. calpr. cover, hdlt.ears. Recovered seat. Dunlop K 391S Qualifier tires/tyres.

Engine Specs as per previous owner and show spec sheet; 750cc bored .040 over w/TRW 9:1 comp.pistons, Megacycle Cams, Ported and polished Cyl. Head. Barnett Clutch. 3 bend cross over straight pipes. Has a nice 'Bark' to it!

I have changed engine oil twice, new oil in primary & gearbox. New Battery, Plugs and Wires,New petcocks, Fuel lines. Gas tank cleaned out, prepped and lined w/Northern Tank liner. New front brake lever/master cylinder and fluid. Lubed throttle, clutch, tach and speedo cables.I have a front fender and chainguard that will go with the bike also(white lettering on tires rubbed chngrd.). I liked the look w/out fender.

Selling this bike in AS-IS condition. Some of the chrome shows wear, there are a few chips in the paint. It's not perfect or implied to be. It's a 40 year old motorcycle that was rebuilt 25+/- years ago.Gauges ARE working now, Wrong speedo cable(replaced w/a used one I had)Mileage listed is what is on speedo. I can deliver for a fee depending on distance or can help w/loading for you or your shipper.

2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster [video]

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

Over the past few model years Triumph strove to create some sense of how the Rocket can be used, eventually creating a touring-friendly model with windscreen and saddlebags as standard, called the Rocket III Touring. Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.

2022 Triumph Speed Twin Review

Mon, 16 Aug 2021

A little more of everything, along with Euro 5 It was just about a year ago when we sampled Triumph’s reborn Speed Twin for the first time on home soil, in a two-bike standoff against a way-more-expensive optioned-out BMW R nineT. At the time, we were slightly underwhelmed and had to rate the new Speed Twin second, by a hair. 2022 Triumph Speed Twin Editor Score: 89.0% Engine 18.5/20 Suspension/Handling 13.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 9.0/10 Instruments/Controls 3.5/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 9.5/10 Appearance/Quality 9.5/10 Desirability 8.5/10 Value 8.5/10 Overall Score 89/100 It was mostly a suspension thing; the Triumph’s old-timey 41mm cartridge fork and twin rear shocks couldn’t compete with the R nineT’s plush, adjustable setup.

2015 Triumph Daytona 250 Spied

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.
