Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
Very good condition 2010 Triumph Thruxton motorcycle, black with gold stripe detail, 865cc EFI engine, and over $10,000 in aftermarket parts. This motorcycle has been very well cared for and has always been garaged or covered. There is one small blemish on the lower portion of the right side stator cover from the previous owner, shown in pictures. Mileage on odometer is not the actual total as it is an aftermarket gauge, current total is 11,207 miles.
The vast majority of the customization work was done by me so if there are any questions just ask. Purchaser is getting a great deal on parts here, even if you just take off and sell the ones you don't like, you'll be way ahead on the deal. Great bike to ride and work on for all levels of skill and experience, you will enjoy it! I hate to see it go, but I won't have much opportunity to ride it for the next few years and it needs a good home. Buyer responsible for pickup/transportation and cash or certified check is the only accepted form of payment. Bike is located in Alexandria, VA and clean title is in hand. Stock two person seat and Triumph aftermarket single seat w/ rack will transfer with the bike. A nearly comprehensive list (might have missed one or two bits, there are a lot!) of aftermarket parts on the bike is below: -Scorpio GPS enabled alarm system -Alpina STS tubeless wheels, black rim & hubs, silver spokes, 5" wide rear, stock size front -Pretech six-pot front brake caliper -Bra-King wavy rotors front and rear -Spiegler stainless steel brake lines -British Customs fender elimination and air box elimination kits -British Customs 2-1 stainless exhaust system -Triumph Twin Performance custom engine map -YSS piggyback shocks -Bitubo fork cartridge inserts -Norman Hyde steering dampener -British Customs fork brace -DCC mini gauges and D9 custom bracket -British Customs top yoke bracket -Woodcraft clip-ons -Oberon bar-end mirrors -DCC adjustable brake/clutch levers -DCC rear sets -Triumph color matched fly screen -Joker Machine billet headlight brackets -Powder coated black headlight bucket & carb tops -Triumph locking gas cap -Triumph rubber gas tank knee pads -LED integrated rear brake light and front turn signals (front are mounted on forks below triple tree) -British Customs clutch arm dress up -Joker Machine choke knob and oil fill cap -British Customs side number plates -British Customs sprocket cover -DID gold chain -Continental Road Attack 2 tires -Shorai Battery w/ Shorai specific tender -British Customs rear peg block offs (have rear pegs for the buyer too) -Joker Machine ignition relocation kit -Supersprox rear sprocket -Joker Machine rear shock bold dress up kit -Rectifier relocation |

Church of MO: 2002 Triumph Speed Triple
Sun, 09 Jan 2022Still no score and twenty years ago, yours truly came to work at MO for the first time (where I apparently found it my duty to insert a lot of parentheticals signed Ed). I think the 2002 Triumph Speed Triple was one of the first bikes we reviewed upon my arrival. That’s me resting on the couch after performing the horn mono for Minime’s Kodak Brownie, which took a lot out of me.
The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!
Tue, 02 Jun 2009According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run. Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake. Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump.
