Triumph Bonneville description

You are looking at a beautiful 2009 Triumph Bonneville SE with only 6,508 miles.  It is black in color.  2009 is also the first year for fuel injection.  I am the second owner.  The bike is well cared for and never abused.  Never dropped or damage.  The paint is in great shape.  The bike runs excellent and needs nothing.  The oil was changed about 1,000 miles ago and a new battery was installed.  Always hooked up to a Battery Tender when not in use.  Tires have decent tread left but will need replaced in a couple thousand miles.

The bike has about $1,000 of modifications but most of which can be easily reversed to fit your style.  Currently the bike has:
- Hagon Rear Shocks and Progessive brand progressive springs - the bike handles excellent.
- Fully adjustable CNC brake and clutch levers
- Fork Gaitors
- Skid Plate
- British Customs Air Injection Removal (eliminates popping during deceleration)
- British Customs Number Plates instead of Side Covers
- LSL Frame Sliders
- CNC Open Sprocket Cover

Also included, but never installed (brand new) are black handlebars that are a little lower than stock and black bar-end mirrors.

Also included are the original rear shocks, original fork springs, original levers, original sidecovers, and original sprocket cover.  Any of these can easily be put back on.  You can keep the one you like (stock or aftermarket) and easily sell the other and get a few hundred dollars.

The bike turns a lot of heads.  I love that you can have the vintage look but modern reliability.

Thank you for looking.  Let me know if you have any questions.

$1,000 deposit due in 24 hours.  Balance due in 3 days.  Pickup in Atlanta area or you arrange shipping.  I will not crate the bike.  I have had great success with uship.com in the past for motorcycle shipping.

EICMA 2012: 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R Unveiled

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

Today at EICMA 2012, Triumph has taken the wraps off the hotly anticipated Daytona 675 and 675R. We first broke the news of a new Daytona last month, but details were still largely unknown at the time. As we expected from the fresh, updated look of the 2013 model, the 675’s updates are more than just skin deep.

The new Triumph Daytona 765 sportbike is here

Sat, 02 Feb 2019

The sportbike is powered by a 765cc three-cylinder engine that first debuted on the naked Street Triple and then became the standard for the Moto2 racing class. The equipment will include an Öhlins NIX30 inverted fork and a rear TTX monoshock, Brembo Stylema braking system, TFT instrument panel, tilting ABS and a drive mode select system.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
