Triumph Bonneville description
2006 Triumph Bonneville T-100, Colorful. artistic Limited Edition 41/50 by Paul Smith! - 2006 Triumph Bonneville T-100 Live-Fast Limited Edition 41/50 They say two heads are better than one. When the heads are Triumph and Paul Smith, there's no question about it. Passion for fashion; the Bonneville T100 like you've never seen it before. In response to the overwhelming reaction to these special bikes, Triumph decided to produce two limited edition Paul Smith designs for sale. Inspired by two of the original customised designs, the “Live-Fast” and “Multi-Union” models feature special hand-painted bodywork and mock-croc leather seats. Fifty of each design were produced for sale globally, and each bike is individually numbered and authenticated with a certificate, signed by Paul Smith and John Bloor, Triumph’s owner. Adding subtle touches to the uncluttered Bonneville form, the T100 roadster wears a little extra to mark its connection with the classic speedster of the sixties. It also has extra bite, thanks to the full-blooded, 865 cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine that powers it. Delivering throaty performance – echoed by the mellow backbeat from its twin pea-shooter exhaust pipes – a bore and stroke of 90 x 68 mm, compression ratio of 9.2:1 and 360 degree firing interval add up to a responsive, punchy and soulful power unit. The T100’s chassis thrives on the extra power and torque available from the engine delivering secure road-holding, effortless steering and easy-going manners – as you’d expect of a motorcycle drawn from Bonneville stock. The tubular steel frame, 41 mm telescopic forks and chromed twin rear shocks easily cope with the extra performance the engine imparts, as do the powerful twin-piston calipers operating on the front and rear discs. The Bonneville T100 is the very essence of urban style and underlines the enduring power of individual expression.
