Triumph Bonneville description

Selling my 2004 Triumph Bonneville Black Cafe Racer. This is the most amazing motorcycle I have ever owned. This motorcycle started out as a basic Triumph Bonneville. I have modified it as I have always been pretty obsessed with Cafe Racers.

  • Rear fender eliminator kit
  • Key relocation kit
  • Clip-on handlebars
  • Sixty-Eight rear seat cover
  • Cafe Racer seat with memory foam
  • Custom brushed aluminum indicator lights with custom relocation brackets
  • Oversized front and rear Metzeler tires
  • Spoke rims made in Italy (factory for 2004)
  • Old school Triumph Bonneville bullet mufflers with swing up adapters
  • Quick release gas cap
  • Starts easily and runs very well
  • Shorty Thruxton front fender.
  • Dual instrument cluster bracket with Tach and Speedometer
  • Center stand
  • Tank knee pads
  • Synthetic motor oil
Things to note: I did not get the carbs rejetted when I put on the '60s era bullet mufflers so it does back fire just a bit when decelerating but I have always rather liked that.

This is a true English original made in Hinkley, England. I have taken it to bike shows and it always draws a crowd.

Please ask any questions before you bid. I am happy to send interested parties a video of it starting and running.

Winner of this auction to pay $500 at within 24 hours of auction's end. Balance to be paid when the bike is picked - cash or certified bank check accepted. Local pickup only but will certainly work with you if you want to arrange a shipping service.

Get your suspension set up, do it now!

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

Things are coming along nicely in the Speed Triple camp. I’ve finally removed my gaffa tapped heated jacket controls from the tank, and fitted a pair of Bridgestones sticky but durable BT-16’s. Last week a huge box full of R&G crash protection stuff arrived so that will be fitted at the weekend for peace of mind, just as well really because the Triumph now feels like a finely tuned scratcher thanks to a recent new discovery.
