Triumph Reveals Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition for US Market – Video

This past weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival, Triumph took the wraps off a special edition Thruxton that was created with the famed Ace Café London. Harkening back to one of the lynchpins of the British café racer movement of the 1960s, the Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition molds the profile of the classic Triumph racer of the era to the thoroughly modern Thruxton. 2014 Triumph Thunderbird Commander, Thunderbird LT Models Outted in CARB Documents

An executive order released by the California Air Resources Board reveals two new additions to the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser lineup. Joining the base Thunderbird and the Thunderbird Storm (both of which have already received CARB certification for 2014) are two new versions, the Thunderbird LT and the Thunderbird Commander. According to the executive order, both new T-birds will be powered by a 1700cc engine designated as the ETDXC1.70KMM, the same engine family designation assigned to the parallel-twin engine powering the Thunderbird Storm.

The 36th annual Ride for Sight fundraiser kicks off June 6-8 at the Lindsay Exhibition in Lindsay, ON., with proceeds going to support the Foundation Fighting Blindness – Canada’s largest charity supporting over $25 million in sight-saving research. Friday night, the party gets started with its first ever barn dance, complete with mechanical bull. Saturday morning at 10 am, riders depart the Lindsay Exhibition for a 90-minute motorcycle parade.
