1976 Triumph Bonneville T140v With European Tank And Velorex Side Car on 2040-motos
Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
1976 Triumph Bonneville T140V with Velorex Side Car. Bike has a rare European tank. Very Nice older restoration. This bike was restored approx. 1989. The odometer reads 28,503 miles but is not actual miles . The speedometer functions but fluctuates a bit reading much higher than actual speed. The title has the mileage as original which is under 13,000 miles and I am sure we have not even put 1,500 miles during our ownership. So actual mileage is not known. Again an older restoration which presents itself very well. The bike wet sumps when sitting for a long period of time as does many of the British bikes. It runs well, shifts through the gears smoothly, no clutch slippage, no smoking or strange engine noises, all lights work and horn. A very clean nice running Triumph Bonneville with a Velorex Side Car which shows very well with minor scratches and nicks as would be expected for an older restoration. All rubber parts including tires are from when this bike was first restored back in 1989. So recommending upgrading to new were needed. This bike is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end auction prior to it meeting the reserve price if it sells locally. This bike is being sold as is were is! We welcome anyone to view the bike in person. Please if you have feedback of 10 or lower or negative feedback contact us prior to bidding! Thank you and Good luck bidding on this Nice British sidecar set up!

BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 31 May 2013As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.
The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!
Tue, 02 Jun 2009According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run. Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake. Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump.
