Triumph Bonneville description

Up for auction is my vintage 1976 Triumph 750cc Bonneville motorcycle. This was a California bike of which the original owner passed away and this bike was unused and in storage for many years until a relative had it shipped to Minnesota. I have had it for 4 years and installed many new parts including a new $400 exhaust system that was manufactured in England. It has practically new Dunlop tires. Engine usually starts on first kick after tickeling the Amal carbs. Engine doesn't have any exhaust smoke. Transmission is tight and shifts properly. It has the stock points and condensers. Speedometer and speedometer also work. It has a clear Minnesota title with Classic license plates. I am selling it as I turned 75 years of age and gave up my motorcycle endorsement. Buyer to arrange for pickup at my residence and pay for shipping.

Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.

A thing of beauty?

Mon, 29 Mar 2010

The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.

Price William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
