Triumph Bonneville description

I picked this bike up recently and thought that I might restore it and have since changed my mind due to not enough time.
1 used 1973 triumph bonneville 750 rigid chopper as pictured.
The bike is not running and may have parts and fasteners missing.
Many parts are not fastened and are loosely set in place .
The engine turns freely, there is no gas in it and I have not attempted to finish assembling it or try to start it.
The gas tank is dry with a little light rust and cob webs, should clean up easily.
I cannot guarantee the year and model as I don't know these bikes so the buyer will have to confirm what it is.
Tires hold air but are old.
The bike is numbers matching on the engine and frame.
This bike will be sold as is with no guarantees or warranties with Bill of sale only.
The bike is located in Canada and shipping will be arranged and paid by buyer.
That being said I will assist with shipping on my end if I can.
Ask questions if you like and I will try to answer them as best I can.
The previous owner had stated that the chopper conversion was likely done in the 80's and that he had ridden the bike 5 years ago and ran good. I can not substantiate this!
All that being said, the right person could make this into a cool easy rider with little effort im sure as the frame looks to be well done,
(my opinion only)
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

As we expected from the fresh, updated look of the 2013 model, the 675’s updates are more than just skin deep.

Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Photo courtesy Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout (landspeedevents.com) Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout streamliner runs were rescheduled for this weekend, October 4–5, after wet conditions earlier in the month prevented the runs on the long course required to run at these speeds.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
