David was the upper crust of Big Dog Motorcycle Artwork, painting and building. He has built numerous Show Winning Triumph Custom Motorcycles. This Motorcycle is no exception with numerous show wins and was also Featured in Horse Magazine. This bike utilizes the original, totally rebuilt, highly polished motor, with only a few miles since build. This is an extremely consistant 2-4 Kicker for starting. Runs, Rides, and Sounds amazing. Utilizes the original customized frame. Joe Hunt M High Polished magneto with clear Mag Cover. Beautiful Heavy Metal Flake 60'-70's Vintage House of Colors Paint, utilizing Orion Silver base and candy violet Purple. Original frame utilized and professionally built with over 40 Hours of molding and fabrication. Harley Davidson Narrow Glide Front End. Custom Veterinary Syringe Hand Shifter. Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.
DiSalvo, Myers and Riedmann to Ride Triumph D675R for Daytona 200
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Latus Motors Racing announced it will compete in the 2013 Daytona 200 with Jason DiSalvo, Elena Myers and Kenny Riedmann on the Triumph Daytona 675R. DiSalvo should be considered one of the favorites for the Daytona 200. DiSalvo won the 2011 edition of the race on a Ducati 848 for Latus, and nearly did it again in 2012, finishing second on a Triumph Daytona 675R sporting a special livery in tribute to Gary Nixon.
Church of MO: 2002 Triumph Speed Triple
Sun, 09 Jan 2022Still no score and twenty years ago, yours truly came to work at MO for the first time (where I apparently found it my duty to insert a lot of parentheticals signed Ed). I think the 2002 Triumph Speed Triple was one of the first bikes we reviewed upon my arrival. That’s me resting on the couch after performing the horn mono for Minime’s Kodak Brownie, which took a lot out of me.
