I also have a spare case, 2 spare cylinders with pistons, peanut tank, and 2 extra seats. for full disclosure, it does drip oil. i have a complete gasket set. havent had a chance to fix the drip yet. needs front brakes. i was going to remove the cable and lever and run without it. other wise good condition. this is not a show bike. this was an old school rat chopper project.  love the bike but i have a harley project on the way and need to make room in the stable. local pickup only, will not ship. if interested i can take more pics and send them to you. $500 non-refundable deposit due at auctions end. balance due when picked up.

Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands

Mon, 29 Aug 2011

Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the  accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.

Triumph TE-1: a breakthrough in the world of electric bikes or just another fairy tale?

Sat, 20 Mar 2021

According to Triumph engineers, the fully ready-to-use TE-1 electric bike will weigh 220 kg, while it will be equipped with a 174 hp electric motor, and a 15 kWh batt ery will provide a cruising range of about 200 km. But the most important thing is not even these figures, but the charging speed: from 0 to 80% in just 20 minutes! This can already make even the most inveterate petrolheads turn their attention to "electric fellows".
