Triumph Bonneville description

1972 Triumph Bonneville T120R hard tail chopper. new 750 big bore kit. new aftermarket carbs. springer front end. forward controls. fat bob tank with new petcock and filter (tank is one piece, two sided. there is no dash installed). fresh paint (needs wet sand and buff) tires are as new.  matching numbers on frame and case. kick start only. starts right up. goes fast. stops slow. fun as hell to ride. is registered (transferable) and inspected. I also have a spare case, 2 spare cylinders with pistons, peanut tank, and 2 extra seats. for full disclosure, it does drip oil. i have a complete gasket set. havent had a chance to fix the drip yet. needs front brakes. i was going to remove the cable and lever and run without it. other wise good condition. this is not a show bike. this was an old school rat chopper project.  love the bike but i have a harley project on the way and need to make room in the stable. local pickup only, will not ship. if interested i can take more pics and send them to you. $500 non-refundable deposit due at auctions end. balance due when picked up.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

Natural Habitats

Sat, 26 Jan 2013

SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home.    Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
