What we have here is a sweet lil 1971 Triumph TR6R. Freshly rebuilt head by Choppahead Customs with new valves and valve guides. Points, condensors and capacitor are new. Running no battery. Will look for a new brake light lens cover, my toddler ran amock in the garage yesterday. Apologies. Bike will fire on 2-3 kicks hot or cold. Rubber has a lot of tread left, barely been riden. Amal carb. Copper spring solo seat. Bike is a bad ass lil lane splitter. I wouldn't think twice bout heading to the bar and pounding a few back anytime. I'm 15 minutes south of Wichita, KS. Sat, 06 Apr 2013Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.

Tue, 05 Nov 2013Just as it did with its Thunderbird family, Triumph revealed a new bagger to its America cruiser line at the 2013 EICMA show. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Originally revealed in CARB documents as the America Horizon, the Triumph America LT adds a deattachable windscreen, pillion backrest and leather saddlebags to turn the midsized America into a serviceable light tourer. The America LT is powered by the same air-cooled 865cc parallel-Twin with a 270-degree firing interval as the regular America and the Speedmaster cruisers. Performance numbers are the same, with Triumph claiming 60 hp at 6800 rpm and 53 ft-lb.
Triumph to Mark 110th Anniversary with Special Edition Bonneville T100
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Triumph will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand with a special edition version of the Bonneville T100. The current Hinckley-based Triumph Motorcycle company has only been around since 1984 but the original Triumph Engineering Co. first began producing motorcycles in 1902.
