Up for sale is a 1970 Triumph T120R Bonneville Motorcycle. Matching Numbers ND 30601. 7,419 Original miles. It Has been sitting since the late 1980's. Clear Title. Does not Run. Turns over with plenty of compression. Brakes do work. Shifts through the gears. Looks to be complete. Overall the chrome shows pitting/ rust but everything is solid, no rot. Gas tank has light rust inside. Seat pan is solid. Fenders have no dents. Tank has no dents. Overall would make a great project to restore. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
