I'm making this short and simple and if you want more info please give
me a call. When have you seen a old school show bike that you would love
to have.
I took this bike in trade and will list what I was told about.. 1970 Triumph Bonneville TR6 Old School Chopper former Show and Magazine Bike. The one pic with the babe is when it was in one of the magazines. It was painted down south (Socal) by a Very well known builder but I never did get who done it. It's got a TR6 (single carb head) 750 kit done to it. Nice Cam All the 650's have dual inlets but the TR6 they are flat and side by side. The Bonneville was spaced a little more for the twin carbs. Has Morris magneto. The back Rim and brake hub does have a little of the chrome thats not perfect. I'm not sure when it was built and was featured in the magazines and showed. It does run and looks great. Everyone that looks at it goes nuts about it.. Would be Great for Cruise Nights and car or motorcycle shows. I'm going to list it at $12500 and open to all offers on part trade and cash. Might deliver for a price. **Watching doesn't buy a nice show bike like this..bid with confidence or call to make offers! 2012 Triumph Daytona 675, 675R Recalled in Canada for Missing Throttle Cable Guide
Tue, 21 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R because certain units may be missing a throttle cable guide. Without the guide, the throttle cable may get stuck in the steering stop, preventing the throttle from opening or closing properly. Such a situation could result in a loss of propulsion or, if the throttle is stuck open, could make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.

Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.
