You are bidding on a beautiful bike that was restored by Dales Cycle in Walworth, WI. and sold at Mid America Auctions in 2013. The bike sold for $15,660 including buyers fee and has been ridden less then 30 miles since then. This iconic Triumph has been kept in heated storage and is in amazing shape. Included in the sale is the sale documents including the engine rebuild receipt for over $5600 alone. A Bonneville done to this level would cost in excess of $18,000 to do today. Zero Enters South American Market

Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.

Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

Chicago born and raised, Sarah has owned a private motorcycle training program in the State of Illinois for 11 years and has trained all branches of the US Armed Forces over the past 4.5 years in the art of motorcycle riding in the USA, Hawaii and Japan.
