1967 Triumph Bonnivlle Bobber .... Custom Build on 2040-motos
Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
967 Triumph Bonneville Custom Bobber.
The bike had a little over 8k miles before the build and less than 250 miles
since completion. The motor has been professionally rebuilt from the sludge
trap up including new bearings, seals and .02 over pistons and bore. New 930
Amal carbs were also installed at time of build. The custom hard tail was built
by Elswick cycles and has a 6” stretch and 2” drop. I am including a custom
aluminum rear fender specifically made for the wheel and tire combination. Upgraded the front wheel to the twin leading shoe of the 69 series for better
braking. Front forks have been totally rebuilt with new tubes, seals, and
bushings. Tank has been steam cleaned and epoxy coated. Wires are clean and
neat with a “through frame” installation. Other features include a custom
battery box, Larosa deep leather seat, custom headlight and may other small
custom details. There are a lot of hours into this build and it rides very nice
and looks great. 250 break in miles have just been completed and valves
readjusted and head re torqued. The bike does not leak from sitting and push-rod tubes nice
and dry.

Street Triple gets a Yoshi boost
Fri, 21 Jan 2011Yoshimura, the purveyors of fine aftermarket exhausts have put the heads together for these fine looking high-level cans for the Triumph Street Triple. According to the PR; the exhausts offer a considerable gain in performance over the stock items (dyno results below), with a significant weight reduction. The stock exhausts top the scales at 7.2kg and with the top-of-the-range carbon slip-ons, the weight is shaved down to 3.5kg.
Tested: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Review First Ride
Fri, 06 Dec 2024The sportiest modern classic continues to push the performance envelope Photos by Triumph Motorcycles. Selling 20,000 units since its reintroduction in 2019, the Speed Twin had once topped the charts as Triumphs best selling model before being unseated by the likes of the excellent standard Trident 660, and now the equally impressive TR400 machines. For 2025, the Speed Twin 1200 not only gets enhanced electronics by way of an IMU and slight styling upgrades, but is also now joined by a pointedly sport-focused RS model that ups the ante of what a modern classic is capable of.
