IT WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT FOR THE JACOB JAVITS BIKE SHOW IN NYC... IT WAS THEN PURCHASED BY ACTOR MICKEY ROURKE... I'LL DESCRIBE DETAILS AS BEST I CAN.. ITS BUILT IN A RIGID FRAME THATS MOLDED RAKED AND STRETCHED, ITS GOT A GREAT PROFILE AND THE SEAT HEIGHT IS ONLY 23"!.... IT HAS H-D SPORTSTER MAG WHEELS WITH BRAND NEW AVON TIRES, BRAND NEW GMA REAR BRAKE CALIPER AND ROTOR, EARLY CERIANI CHROMED FRONT END, CUSTOM TT EXHAUST, POLISHED ENGINE CASES, ENGRAVED SIDE COVERS, AMEL CARBURETOR WITH VELOCITY STACK... IT RUNS GOOD BUT A LITTLE HARD TO START SOMETIMES.. IT COULD PROBABLY USE A TUNE UP.. POINTS, CONDENSER.ETC.. THIS BIKE WAS BUILT IN THE 70'S.. THE PAINT IS BLACK WITH SOME RED PINSTRIPING.. Filmed by an MCN reader near Triumph’s Hinckley factory, the video quality isn’t very high, but we can see some details from the enhanced screenshot above (click to see a larger version). The most noticeable change is the placement of the exhaust.
2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 Hit with Nissin ABS Recall
Mon, 29 Jul 2013A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.
