Really hate to do this but I have been thinking about selling my 1967 Triumph Bonneville Survivor chopper. This is a great bike with a lot of nice details. This bike was built back in 1970, originally came from the Boston area. I am the third owner. When I obtained the bike, I pulled the motor and had it rebuilt by PT Customs up in Dorr, Michigan. This is a strong running every day riding chopper. The rear fender and frame are molded, vintage wassell tank, paughco springer front end, dog bone risers with z-bars, AEE trident sissy bar, king and queen seat, highway pegs, 16-inch rear and 19-inch spool wheel in the front. No front bake. This is a real nice 70's survivor, real nice bike, major head turner. It's not for the faint of heart or beginner rider. This bike has a brand new set of Amal 930 carbs on it. I'm in the process of re-spoking the rear wheel and the charging system and ignition were all updated a couple years ago. This bike is ready to ride and have fun on. The show happens to be round the corner from me so event sponsors MCE Insurance kindly sent me some passes so I could have a look around. Apart from the usual trade stands and crazy arena antics one of the highlights was the national lawn mower racing championship.
2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple Recalled in Canada for Unapproved Wheel Bearings
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Triumph has issued a recall for the Canadian market for the 2011-2012 Daytona 675 and Street Triple because the wheel bearings were provided by an unapproved supplier. At the moment, the recall is only for Canada and no recall has been announced for the U.S. market.
Sulfur Yellow Triumph Daytona 675 Highlights New 2012 Colors
Tue, 15 May 2012Triumph announced a number of new paint schemes for several of its models. While the new options are for the most part merely cosmetic, the lone exception is the new sulfur yellow 2012 Triumph Daytona 675. We’re not quite sure it’s good marketing for a color scheme that reminds you of the smell of rotten eggs, but the sulfur yellow Daytona 675 also sports a number of upgrades.
