This motorcycle has been mine for more than a dozen years.I have ridden it regularly,and it is 100% reliable. The tank paint has been nicely repainted, but is several years old. The stainless fenders,and pipes have also been replaced,Seat recovered, tachometer, and speedometer professionally rebuilt.It has Boyer electronic ignition,Amal concentric carbs,
Brakes, Wheel bearings,Chains,,Clutch Plates and Springs, have been renewed. This bike is NOT a Perfect restoration.It IS a great,running, good looking,classic Triumph,Bonneville ,If the buyer wants to have an "affordable" original with the potential for a restoration project, or just a terrific, fun ride, this is the one!! Triumph Announces Special Edition Rocket 3, Street Twin and Thruxton Models
Tue, 09 Nov 2021Bolder new graphics Triumph announced four new special edition models, each featuring a special livery that will only be offered for the 2022 model year. The 2022 special edition models are the Street Twin EC1, Thruxton RS Ton Up and the 221 Edition Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT. Each SE model is mechanically the same as their respective regular versions, but featuring a unique livery.

Fri, 04 May 2012California-based aerospace company XCOR is using a Triumph Street Triple to test rocket components for a suborbital spacecraft. Of course, what immediately comes to mind is a giant rocket strapped on to the Triumph, but the truth is much less dramatic, yet still fascinating. XCOR is using the Street Triple for endurance testing of bearings components for the rocket propellant piston pump of the Lynx suborbital spacecraft.
