1965 Triumph Bonneville on 2040-motos
Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
I have a 1965 Triumph Bonneville T120SR, yes SR; which are rare. It has been in the family for 49 years. People say Triumph didn't make an SR but here we are. Again, very rare I'm told. Check the web for T120SR and you will get all kinds of stories.
It has been completely stripped to the frame, engine rebuilt, (all the numbers match) and put back together in great running order (see the YouTube link below or go to 43alaskaman on YouTube).
I did not have it restored to new condition; this is the way it has looked since my dad bought it in 1967. I grew up with it this way and wanted to keep it like this, with character.
The clutch has started slipping, it leaks like a triumph, and it draws attention wherever I ride it.
New battery
New Tires (I do have the originals)
Starts on the first or second kick.
The tac doesn't work

Triumph Street Triple Used to Test Rocket Components – Video
Fri, 04 May 2012California-based aerospace company XCOR is using a Triumph Street Triple to test rocket components for a suborbital spacecraft. Of course, what immediately comes to mind is a giant rocket strapped on to the Triumph, but the truth is much less dramatic, yet still fascinating. XCOR is using the Street Triple for endurance testing of bearings components for the rocket propellant piston pump of the Lynx suborbital spacecraft.
