Triumph Bonneville description

I had this bike restored by my good friend Jim Hiddleston in Holland, those of you collectors familiar with the Vegas auctions will recognize the name, always bring top dollar, however some of my priorities have changed and I will be moving my bikes, this one has been sitting in my collection since restoration and has never seen the road, restored inside out top to bottom,my asking price does not cover what I have in it,try buying one and then restoring its expensive,65 was quite a low production # so nice examples are getting hard to find,an opportunity to get a desireable model at a fair price,I expect to have title back in about 10 days,at a later date I will be listing 63and 64 bonnies(even rarer) just need to tidy up a little, if you need to know more you can call me 909 560 2804 Howie if sold I can wait for a reasonable time for pick up.

Craig Vetter Grand Marshall for 2012 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Tue, 22 May 2012

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and noted designer Craig Vetter — whose contributions to motorcycling range from the iconic Windjammer fairings and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane to the Mystery Ship limited-production high-performance motorcycles and a number of high-profile motorcycle fuel-economy contests — will be honored as this year’s grand marshal at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days featuring Rockers and Mods, July 20-22, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Vetter has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a designer since 1965, and his varied background gives him a unique alliance to both the Rockers and Mods motorcycle subcultures. His design projects over the years have involved café racers — the motorcycles of choice for Rockers — and scooters, which are favored by Mods.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
