TRIUMPH FLAT TRACKER!
      1966 TRIUMPH FLAT TRACK RACE BIKE

  • Triumph Flat Tracker Motorcycle

          This listing is for a Triumph motorcycle built in a “Flat Track” configuration.  In addition to an outstanding “restoration”, the motorcycle features:

    ·        Tricor Bodywork (see picture of Tricor label under seat)

    ·        A 1968 Bonneville twin carb engine that has been entirely rebuilt.   Mk I concentric carbs were used

    ·        ARD Magneto (see pictures – very rare!)

    ·        ACK Primary cover (again a very rare piece)

    ·        Alloy rims

    ·        Ceriani front forks/custom headstock

    ·        Custom oil tank

    ·        And a good many more!

     

    As the pictures show, the workmanship is outstanding and the result is a great looking competition motorcycle!  The motorcycle has been run for a “checkout” and then has been stored in my personal collection (climate controlled environment). The frame we used in building the motorcycle is a 1966 TR6C.  North Carolina does not title Competition motorcycles, but, it has been inspected and has a clean history (no theft, etc.). So, the bike is being sold as a Competition motorcycle with a notarized Bill of Sale.  As you can imagine with all the great features…I have a lot of money invested.  However, we are starting the auction at a very reasonable $6,399.  Well under the amount invested!  Look at the pictures and video….I know you will be impressed!

New Triumph joins the family this Friday

With the nights drawing out it feels like an end to what has been a very long winter. I’ve been getting the train to work recently and if you’ve used London’s tube network in rush hour then you’ll know what I mean when I say the words ‘inhuman over crowding’. I had a call from the Triumph factory in Hinckley today and the good news is my new staff bike will be ready for collection on Friday.

Zero Enters South American Market

Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.
