New registration and license plate at BUYER'S COST. BACK STORY - THE ENGINE OVERHAUL WAS NOT DONE BY ME. It was done by a third party for the owner, who commissioned me to complete the required details (wiring, ignition, final timing & adjustments) to get it running and roadworthy, then sell it. SHIPPING - Shipping is the responsibility of the BUYER. I recommend Keyboard Motorcycle Shippers or J.C.Motors. I can disassemble and/or crate the bike FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE. BOTTOM LINE As with every bike, project and part I’ve sold online in over 16 years (with 100% satisfaction), the above listing contains no hype, no fluff and NO BULL. SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Many of the core parts on this bike are over 40 years old and there is no way to guarantee them. I do stand behind my work, and will assist the buyer to the best of my ability from long distance, should the need arise. Motorcycles are inherently dangerous, and buyer assumes all risk and liability as soon as the motorcycle is loaded up and removed from my property. Thanx for looking, you won't be disappointed for bidding! |

Church of MO: 2002 Triumph 955i Daytona First Ride
Sun, 03 Apr 2022For a while there it looked like Triumph wanted to play the superbike game with the rest of the world. But slimming down the 955i Daytona by losing its original one-sided swingarm, and other weight-saving measures, sometimes seemed more like cost-cutting ones. And maybe Triumph sensed the imminent demise of the superbike a bit earlier than some others.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
2013 Triumph Trophy Spy Photos
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.
