2001 Triumph Sprint ST, This is a truly outstanding all-around bike - runs as good as it did when new - great for commuting, cruising, and touring. It is fast and sporty when you want, relaxed when you want, and always comfortable. I'm the second owner of this bike and have had it for 10 years (bought it with 1100 miles on it). The original owner was an old(er) guy like me. This is/was my first bike and I've REALLY enjoyed it. I'm selling it because I recently bought a BMW K1200LT for road trips and I'm looking for something different. The PowerMax underseat exhaust shows off the single-sided swingarm which Triumph finally figured out on later models. The sound is louder than stock, but not obnoxious. A thing of beauty?
Mon, 29 Mar 2010The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.
Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November
Thu, 01 Aug 2013It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.
Triumph Unveils 2014 Modern Classics for North America
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Triumph is introducing updating its line of Modern Classics, which in 2014 includes not only the Bonneville, T100, Thruxton and Scrambler, but a new blacked-out T100 and a Bonneville Special Edition. The freshened bikes feature new color schemes, machined cooling fins and new mufflers. Bonneville - With a 17” cast front wheel, the 2014 Triumph Bonneville sports a rider-friendly seat height of just over 29 inches.
