Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November

It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.

Craig Vetter To Headline AMA Hall Of Fame Breakfast At Daytona, March 14

AMA Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter will be the featured guest at its annual AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 a.m., at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield at Daytona International Speedway.  “Craig Vetter’s impact is far-reaching, starting with the design of the iconic Windjammer fairings of the 1970s, continuing with motorcycle designs like the Triumph X-75 Hurricane and the limited-edition ‘Mystery Ship,’ and enduring more recently with a resurrected series of motorcycle fuel economy runs that push the boundaries of everyday streamlining,” said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to host motorcycling’s design professor emeritus for this year’s Breakfast at Daytona.” Taking place during 2014 Daytona Bike Week, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser will feature a live interview with Vetter on stage, an audience Q&A period and an autograph session with Vetter and other Hall of Famers in attendance. Triumph Teases Speed Triple 1200 RR Prototype

Faired Speed Triple tabbed for 2022 model year Triumph has started teasing a new faired version of the Speed Triple across its social media channels. Details remain scarce, as Triumph seems to have planned a long teaser campaign (and we know how much our readers love those), but we can form some conclusions based on the images we’ve seen, and on the name: the Speed Triple 1200 RR. From the name, it’s obvious the sportbike will be based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, with a similar cast aluminum frame and 1160cc Triple which claims 177 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 lb-ft.
