Triumph Speed Triple description
2006 Triumph Speed Triple 1050, black, 12,825 miles, located in Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
Clean and clear KY title in my name, ready to go. I purchased this from the original owner at 5500 or so miles. No mechanical issues, runs well. A few light scratches here and there, and scuff on left side bar end. No other cosmetic issues. Not very noticeable, but worth mentioning. I've only needed to do oil and filter changes (Mobil 1) and put a good battery in last year. Very reliable, took it to New Orleans & Florida last fall, and Chicago a few weeks ago. Most miles are highway. Only selling because I've got another bike and don't want to haul this with me when I move in a few weeks. Fly in and ride out. Will help with shipping on my end. Can include a Touratech luggage set up (racks & panniers) for an addition $800. Please contact me with any questions, or to schedule a viewing. Test rides with cash in hand only. |

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride
Fri, 12 Feb 2010Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
