Triumph Speed Triple description

looking to sell my '06 Speed Triple. Its been a great bike to me, but i am looking to consolidate hobbies and just focus on one thing. I haven't ridden as much as I want to, and i feel like someone else could enjoy this bike more.

the specs-
I purchased it from the first owner in Feb of 2013. he was the person that uncrated it.
Currently has just over 7,000 miles. I have only put roughly 700 of those on.
Previous owner left the bike completely stock. only changed the mirror stalks so he could see around his broader shoulders.
I added a few tasteful upgrades, but i also have ALL the stock parts.

I added-
Comp Werkes low mount pipe
K&N airfilter
Bar end mirrors
undertail kit(i forget the brand, but its nice anodized aluminum)
the cable to re-tune it(currently tuned for the pipe with an off the self tune)
a T-Rex rear stand and harbor freight front stand. These work awesome and make storing the bike a piece of cake.
a motorcycle cover
Fresh set of Michelin Pilot Road 2's. maybe 250 miles on these.

I love this bike and it is not a toy. roughly 120HP and over 70FT/LBs of torque from 3k rpm. this doesn't sound like much when compared to a supersport, but this thing is quick. I have ridden and owned my fair share of bikes and this is one i didn't think i would sell. the only flaw on this beautiful bike is on the rear plastic. looks like something fell on it in the previous owners garage. other than that, this bike is super clean.

If you are interested, please contact me at ksmith164 at yahoo.com or 785-307- one three three seven. please don't mind the Kansas number, i relocated to traverse city for work at the beginning of this summer.

2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 Review – First Ride

Mon, 22 Jan 2024

Minor revisions for the XE with a big step forward in approachability for the X Photos Courtesy of Triumph Motorcycles Triumph is, arguably, the manufacturer who brought scrambler styling back into the limelight nearly 20 years ago now. For many of those years, it was just that, a styling exercise to capitalize on the classic cool that scramblers imbue. It wasn’t until the end of 2018 that Triumph stepped up its scrambler game in a way that truly harkened back to what the desert sleds of yore were used for – scramblin’ off the beaten path.

Ducati top brass check out Triumph's class

Wed, 03 Oct 2012

Manufacturers checking out manufacturers is nothing new. At trade shows like Intermot rival manufacturers are as eager as the journalists to see the new models being unveiled. I happened across three of Ducati's top brass checking out the bikes on Triumph's stand, Left to right you have: Diego Sgorbati, Marketing Director, Gabriele del Torchio, CEO and Claudio Domenicali, the boss of Ducati Corse.

Things are coming along nicely in the Speed Triple camp. I’ve finally removed my gaffa tapped heated jacket controls from the tank, and fitted a pair of Bridgestones sticky but durable BT-16’s. Last week a huge box full of R&G crash protection stuff arrived so that will be fitted at the weekend for peace of mind, just as well really because the Triumph now feels like a finely tuned scratcher thanks to a recent new discovery.
