Triumph Daytona description

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Crystal White / Sapphire Blue, Must Have! - On balance, even better to ride. The previous Daytona 675 certainly is a tough act to follow. So just how did we improve on it? The all-new triple motor is more compact, and more powerful, which allowed us to re-design the frame to be smaller, lighter and narrower than before. That, combined with a bigger airbox, new swingarm, lighter wheels and new, sharper, bodywork means we’ve succeeded in making the new Daytona 675 more agile, more responsive, and more forgiving than ever before.

There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.

The third part tells us the two models will use a steel frame and feature an upright riding geometry.

This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Photo courtesy Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout (landspeedevents.com) Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout streamliner runs were rescheduled for this weekend, October 4–5, after wet conditions earlier in the month prevented the runs on the long course required to run at these speeds.
