1969 TRIUMPH DAYTONA 500cc T100R . OLD REPAINT ON A STOCK BIKE. FRAME AND ENGINE NUMBERS MATCHING. STARTS AND RUNS VERY STRONG AND HAS GOOD POWER, RIDES VERY NICELY. HAVE RECIEPT OF ENGINE REBUILD BY REPUTABLE CONNECTICUT SHOP A WHILE BACK IN 1998 INCLUDING ; PISTONS, PRIMARY CHAIN, SLUDGE TRAP PLUG, ROD BEARING,BOYER IGNITION, REAR CHAIN AND MORE TO THE AMOUNT OF $2997.41 IN 1998 * AND THEN NOT USED BUT ONLY 45 MILES SINCE THEN (AS TOLD TO ME) SO THE ENGINE IS STILL FRESH. I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON BRITISH MOTORCYCLES, BUT WILL TRY TO BE AS DESCRIBE AS HONESTLY AS I CAN. THE BIKE HAS WEAR AND THE **ACTUAL MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN **. A NICE START FOR A 100 POINT RESTORATION IF YOU LIKE.
HORN AND LIGHTS WORK, GAS TANK HAS BEEN CREAMED IN THE PAST, HAS A LUCAS HEADLIGHT. NO CRACKED COOLING FINS ON THE ENGINE. HAS AMAL 626 CARBS. CHROME ON THE RIMS IN NICE CONDITION. AFTER THE PRIMING ETC. IT'S A ONE KICK BIKE. PAINT IS CRACKED AND CHIPPED, AND WILL NEED A FEW THINGS LIKE A TACHOMETER INNER CABLE, AMP GAUGE IS CLOUDY. SEAT PAN HAS BEEN WELDED AND REPAIRED. 2012-2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 Recalled in Canada
Mon, 25 Mar 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.
2014 Triumph Bonneville, Bonnevile T100, Thruxton and Scrambler Receive Minor Updates
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Triumph has updated its modern classics lineup for 2014 with minor styling updates for the Bonneville, Thruxton and Scrambler. Otherwise, all three models return unchanged mechanically with some new colors (the colors listed below were announced for the U.K. market; Triumph may have different options for the U.S.) The 2014 Triumph Bonneville receives a new pillion grab rail and a new vinyl seat with improved filler material to improve rider comfort.
