SHARP! AFFORDABLE! 2009 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE CAFE RACER WITH MINOR WATER DAMAGE! RUNS EXCELLENT! Bike arrived with fluids already drained and started right up! Great bike for the $$ ! Damage: Clutch lever broke in transit , alloy wheels are a bit pitted, front fender has a small crack towards the front tip. Bike has a British customs exhaust, Norman Hyde bars, dart tinted windscreen, café style tail etc. Production date: 2-09. First year for fuel injection. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a standard good New Jersey "F" title for flood history. In the state of new Jersey you can register this bike with no issues. Please check your local title laws before bidding. This is not a salvage title. I did have other bikes with significant water damage that had NJ salvage/flood titles.I can arrange shipping at a reasonable rate. We are located 45 minutes from major NJ ports for export. 50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
