Triumph Bonneville description

Thank you for taking a look at my motorcycle.  You are obviously a person of good taste and class.   I am the original owner of this motorcycle, took very good care of it, and used it as my primary form of transportation for a few years.  I am a modern Triumph motorcycle mechanic going on 10 years now.

I would also like to point out that 2009 is the only year available to the U.S. market that Triumph made the Bonneville with EFI and a analog odometer, and this is a 2010.  This could be worth a little more later on down the road.

Here's the rundown on the bike:
New tires
New chain
New nitrogen charged "piggyback" rear shocks

(less than 50 miles on all the above)

Saddlebags
Progressive front fork springs
EBC HH brake pads
Air box deleted
Triumph Performance USA mufflers
Headlight guard
Custom taillight
Custom fenders
Custom gas cap
Triumph Twin Power EFI tune, direct to the ECU (no power commander, no hacking into the harness)
Relocated ignition switch
"M" Bars with jade grips
Hand-made key fob made from a .303 British shell case
You have 3K miles until you have to do the 12k mileage service.

This bike won a best in show at a local bike show a few years back, and won runner up for best custom the year following.

I have NEVER swapped the speedometer or disconnected the cable to create a lower mileage bike. Being in this industry, this happens a lot.

2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 - First Look

Tue, 07 Dec 2021

Less weight, more power, and more versatility Triumph has finally spilled the beans on its thoroughly redesigned Tiger 1200. A substantial reduction in weight and an emphasis on power and handling is the name of the game for 2022. Bringing its big ADV into line with the 900s, the Tiger 1200 will be offered in five trims: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer which follow the same naming scheme with the GT trims being more road-focused while the Rally versions offer off-road accoutrement such as larger wheels and more suspension travel.

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
