It has a Triumph windshield and leather saddlebags and a luggage rack and passenger backrest. The tires are excellent and the bike is free of any dings or corrosion. The front of the mirrors have scratches like someone took reflectors off of something. Its on the front of the mirror and the glass is perfect so function is perfect. The rest of the bike looks as good as new. This bike comes with an 18 month unlimited miles full warranty at my listed price only. It's good in US and Canada $0 deductable full bike covered!!!! Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.

The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.

This beautifully shot short film alludes to a phrase by Robert M Pirsig, the author of Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance: "If the machine produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed".  But is any Triumph single ever capable of producing a sensation of tranquility, even when it is 'right'? I suspect not...
