1979 Triumph 750 Bonneville Rare - Good Condition - *Part of a Vintage Motorcycle Collection for Sale (see my other listings and the list below) This motorcycle (along with 40+ others) has been owned by a champion racer & collector that has passed away recently. The entire collection has been kept in great shape in a climate controlled environment and has been taken care of professionally over the years. That said this sale is offered as-is, where-is with no warranties, express, implied or any other kind. All information contained in this listing is to the best of our knowledge but the buyer is ultimately responsible to inspect & verify any and all information. Triumph Announces Sprint GT SE and New Colors for Thunderbird, Tiger Explorer and Street Triple for UK
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Triumph has announced new color options for the U.K. for several models as well as a new special edition version of the Sprint GT. Triumph North America has not confirmed whether these options will be offered on this side of the Atlantic.
2006-2009 Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple Recalled
Mon, 24 Sep 2012Triumph is issuing a recall on the Daytona 675, the Street Triple and the Street Triple R for model years 2006-2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator rectifier on the affected Triumph units may overheat, damaging its internal components. This may affect the regulator rectifier’s ability to control the charge capacity of the batteries, potentially leading the battery to become discharged completely.
2014 Triumph Thunderbird Commander, Thunderbird LT Models Outted in CARB Documents
Tue, 15 Oct 2013An executive order released by the California Air Resources Board reveals two new additions to the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser lineup. Joining the base Thunderbird and the Thunderbird Storm (both of which have already received CARB certification for 2014) are two new versions, the Thunderbird LT and the Thunderbird Commander. According to the executive order, both new T-birds will be powered by a 1700cc engine designated as the ETDXC1.70KMM, the same engine family designation assigned to the parallel-twin engine powering the Thunderbird Storm.
