2007 Harley-davidson Softail on 2040-motos

Some of you may have been bidding on this gorgeous chopper previously.  Unfortunately, yet again for a second time, the top bidder didn't follow through and failed to pay after winning the auction.  So, we're changing the format of this sale a bit.  It is now a Buy It Now sale, with best offers being considered.   

You may see the oil , or some other liquid stains, on the pavement under the chopper.   Those stains aren't from this bike.   It has zero leaks or drips anywhere.  That pavement is a bank parking lot....I used it because the building has a nice brick wall I used as a backdrop.

Feel free to text (304)359-7829 with any questions about the following :   A fabulous chopper by Harley Davidson-Thunder Mountain. This is the Durango model with the 103 cubic inch Screamin Eagle engine and 6 speed Baker transmission. Lots  and LOTS of extra chrome and upgrades, to include the exhaust, foot-pegs, grips, levers, chrome turn signals, forward controls, etc. Too much to list here. It has about 12700 miles on it.  The exhaust is new, its a Vance n Hines Big Radius, 2 into 2 system.  The tires are new as well, with less than 20 miles on them.  

    Harley teamed up with Thunder Mountain Custom Cycles a while back and a handful of different choppers were produced.  Each one has its own distinct, custom paint job, no two are alike.  Each of these are built on the Softail chassis and components, with the Harley Screamin’ Eagle 103 engine and Baker 6 speed transmission, controls, etc

Basically what that means is, the parts, engine, controls, electrical , all  are Harley, with Thunder Mountain then taking over and building the sheet metal and frame.  These choppers are built like a tank and are strong as can be.  Best of all, they look like a rigid chopper, or hardtail, but are comfortable due to the Softail hidden shock suspension.

    This chopper speaks for itself, the paint is gorgeous. It is a dark, charcoal grey metal flake accented with very intricate flames. The paint is 99.99% perfect. I believe in full disclosure: there is one 1/8 inch tiny rock chip on the rear fender and one 1/16 REALLY TINY one on the tank near the rear of it. You'd have to look pretty hard to find them as they've been touched up, but again, I hold nothing back about this bike. The photos don't do it justice, this bike is beautiful. The fuel injection delivers outstanding horsepower and torque. The oil is new Mobile One V-Twin full synthetic .

    The drag bars are positioned just right for the " hands high" look without sacrificing control and produces no arm fatigue. It does NOT have that " ape hanger" look, but it does say " boss" when cruising on it.  The bike sits low to the ground , but not so low as to bottom out on everything.  But its VERY easy to control given the low center of gravity.
Being a Softail model, the Durango is comfortable for all day riding. The sale includes a quick detach rear seat/backrest which is also very plush and comfortable.  This chopper is long, low and powerful, and has been adult ridden and maintained.  The miles on it are easy miles, with this unit never abused or ridden stupidly.

I've had a few folks contact me with the usual scam, claiming they'll send a bank check and then have their " buying agent" pick up the bike, etc.   Please note the paragraph below describing accepted payments.   There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due, thru Paypal,  within ONE hour of the Buy it Now feature being used.  If a Best Offer is accepted the deposit is due within 24 hours.   Payment in full is due within 7 days of sale close.  I hate to be so strict,  but twice now I've had time and money wasted by non-paying auction winners, and I haven't the time to chase folks down.
