Bike is in great condition. Has aftermarket bar end mirrors, and the handle bars have been reversed and flipped for that cafe racer stance. Can easily be changed back to stock and the original mirrors and bar end weights are all included.
I am the original owner and purchased the bike new from a Suzuki dealer in Georgia and it has come with me to the DC Metro area. I am selling because of a big move and do not have the space at new accomodations for all the toys. The team revealed the livery for the Superbike which will be ridden by American John Hopkins and Englishman Leon Camier for the 2012 campaign. The 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 racebikes are prepped by tuning company Yoshimura.

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.
