Suzuki SV description

This 2013 SFV650 Gladius has a 90 degree V-Twin double overhead cam engine. It is liquid cooled, has a chain drive, 6 speed transmission, and a compact open trellis frame. The bike is pretty much stock except for the exhaust slip on. This is a great handling machine and has been flagged as being one of the most capable bikes in it's class. The SV series bike from Suzuki has had a very large following and it has been around for close to 20 years.

Since I took pictures of this bike I have replaced both tires. (could have used a rear only but thought it would be nice to offer up brand new tires both front and rear)  Please note that the speedometer glass has a few scratches on it most likely from a key ring with a few keys on it. Also, the exhaust has some discoloring on the header. The two items mentioned are both pictured as not no mislead or misrepresent the bike in any way. I maintain a 100% rating and would like to continue doing so.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
