This bike is a beast, obviously is not a Gsxr but its no Katanna either. the SV 650 line was changed to its current name Gladius. its a street fighter style bike and is a great bike for the person looking to step up from a 250 or beginner. in no way am I implying this bike should be taken lightly, it has plenty of stock power, and if thats not enogh, I've put an after market exhaust (sounds amazing) put a power commander on (professionaly installed ) and removed the rev limiter. all to enhance the power and sound. I also had the bike custom painted Matte Black, led signals and undertail. bar end mirrors and custom brake and clutch levers. bike is listed locally and I get plenty of interest, but mainly tire kickers or dreamers. Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.
2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
