Suzuki SV description

For sale is a 2007 Suzuki SV650S motorcycle. The color is dark red and the bike has 11293 miles. I am the original owner since buying it new at a dealership in 2008. The tires are Michelin Pilot Road 3s (160/60/17 on the rear and 120/70/17 on the front) and have less than 1000 miles on them. The rear brake pads were also replaced when the tires were changed. There is a scuff on the fairing (throttle side) that is visible in the pictures.

The bike does several aftermarket upgrades:
1) All brake lines have been upgraded to stainless steel braided.
2) The rear tire hugger is not stock, but I do have the original parts and will include them.
3) Levers have been upgraded to adjustable levers.
4) I installed a Hotbodies undertail (fender eliminator) shortly after purchasing. It has integrated turn signals. I no longer have the stock parts for this, but the fender kit looks nice and works great. It has a small scratch on the fender eliminator (white mark) visible in the photos.
4) The rear seat cover is also not stock and I will include the original rear seat and grab handle as well.

2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Intro

Fri, 04 Nov 2011

Suzuki invited a select group of moto-jounalists to the Blue Ridge Mountains this week to sample the 2012 V-Stom 650 ABS. The mildly reworked mid-size adventure-tourer proved itself to be an upgraded version of the popular original model. During the two-day test we rode paved two-lane byways and a few dirt road segments.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
