Suzuki SV description

Listed is my 2006 SV1000s, clear title in hand. This bike has been babied, it's just that I have another bike, and it does not get ridden very much. You just can't find this bike in good shape anymore. For those of you who know what bike this is, then you know how awesome it is. It was only made from 2003-2007, pretty much replaced the TL1000. 996cc fuel injected V-twin motor, pushing around 120HP, weighs around 410lbs. Sounds awesome, rides awesome, looks awesome. This bike is clean, very much of an attention getter. People ask me about it every time I take it out! This is a hard-to-find bike in excellent condition. All the others have either high mileage, been wrecked, or both. 9,7xx Miles, Dual Jardine cans, Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires(less than 1,500 miles on tires), Rear fender eliminator kit, Front frame savers, Battery tender plug already hooked up, rebuilt seat by Spencer; uses Supracor instead of gel for seat. I have changed all fluids; Mobile 1 synthetic in motor, flushed and replaced front and rear brake fluid, well as clutch fluid. Radiator and lines flushed and replaced with Engine Ice coolant. Extras not listed above include brand new Nelson-Riggs (4-piece bag set), bars and top clamp if you want to have a more upright riding stance, and SS braided brake lines for new bars. Also have some extra fluids that will go with it. If you don't want some of the extras, then we can negotiate price. I bought this bike +/- 4yrs ago with 5,700 miles on it. I have another bike I ride, but never get this one out much. It has been kept covered in a climate controlled garage. I hate to sell it, but I need the money. This bike runs better than new, super fun and insurance is cheaper because it's not considered a 'sport bike'!

Fri, 30 Jan 2009

Donald and Andrew Higginbotham, are a father and son team that converted a Suzuki RF900 into an electric motorcycle at their home over the course of three months worth of Saturdays. It ended up costing about $3,000 to complete with parts from Electric Motorsport. The bike gets about 35 miles per charge at a maximum speed of 55mph.
