Nice bike I bought awhile back for a project and have finished. Has new rear tire not yet broken in. Front tire is about 75 percent left. Redid the paint job on bike. Have replaced the subframe for the stock subframe to allow a passenger. Everything else is stock besides the exhaust which came with the bike when I bought it. Sounds really good, and run strong. Plugs replaced less than 50 miles ago. Put on a cyclewerks fender eliminator kit with license plate. I have yet to put the decals on but have them. They are mirrored chrome in color. I have the front fender just repainting it to match the rest of the bike. All parts will come with the bike as seen in pics. The racing subframe, frame sliders, two large side fairings,(one was damaged and professionally repaired) original fender eliminator I replaced, and the chain guard will go on the bike. The Australian rode the ultra-quick MotoGP bike as part of Suzuki's 50th Anniversary TT celebrations. Donald was joined by the bike's usual pilot, Loris Capirossi, for a lap of the 37.73-mile course.

Mon, 01 Apr 2013The California Air Resources Board has agreed to settlements with Suzuki and Piaggio for selling motorcycles that the companies did not disclose could be modified to exceed the state’s strict emission standards. Suzuki was hit with the larger of the two penalties, agreeing to a fine of $3,020,000, though the amount could be reduced by $1,812,000 if Suzuki follows certain provisions. The penalty is in addition to the previous fine of $885,000 levied by the Environmental Protection Agency for selling 25,396 LT-R450 ATVs and 62 RMX450Z dirtbikes with a racing map programmed into their ECUs that was not certified or tested. This racing map is not initially accessible to customers, unless they buy aftermarket devices to unlock the higher-performance engine mapping.
