Suzuki SV description

You are bidding on a 2003 Suzuki SV650 with 18,083 miles in Candy Grand Blue.  It is equipped with a ProGrip tank guard, a Suzuki dealer accessory color matched rear hugger/chain guard, and bar-end mirrors.  No other changes have been made.  The bike comes with one (1) original key and two (2) spares I had made.

This bike has been garage kept and is in very good condition.  It has not been in any accidents or tip overs!  A new Duralast Gold AGM battery has been installed as of 7/5/16 and the Continental Conti-Motion tires have less than 800 miles on them.  There are a few scratches on the left side of the tank that can be seen in the pictures.

Currently, only liability insurance is carried on the bike, so test rides will not be permitted.  The bike and title cannot leave my possession before I have received payment in full.  Cash, Cashier's check, and Post Office money orders are the only forms of payment that will be accepted, no exceptions.

The bike is currently located in Indianapolis, IN.  I would prefer to meet the buyer for local pickup, but I am willing to work with the buyer as far as scheduling shipping is concerned, only at the buyer's expense.

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
