Suzuki SV description

Blue 2002 Suzuki SV650S
2600 Miles

This bike was a one owner bike that was only ridden when bought in 2002. All 2600 miles were highway miles, then it was put in the back of a garage at the end of 2002 season. The bike was sold to our shop May 2016, it is a modern day barn find. The bike underwent a full oem parts mechanical restoration. The fuel system was replaced as well as any rubber that showed signs of going stale. The bike got new spark plugs, battery, full new fluids and a complete tune up. The indicators and control cables were replaced as well. The inside of the bike is unbelivably clean. Our shop have synced and rebuilt the carbs till they worked perfectly. There is a lot more, feel free to ask for additional information.

This bike is mint cosmetically and mechanically. This is absolutely one of, if not, the lowest mileage and best condition first generation SV650S out there. You are buying a show room new bike at a fraction of the cost. The bike has great V-Twin power but handles like a sport bike. Clean title.

Because of the condition of the bike, test rides are cash in hand only.
Bike is available for local pickup only. Come see it by sending me a message.

For sharp eyes, in the picture there is a missing faring bolt. I forgot I hadn't put it in when i took the pictures, it is in and looks as perfect as it should.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050DE First Look

Tue, 06 Sep 2022

V-Strom 1050XT gets replaced by a more capable off-road variant Suzuki announced updates for the V-Strom 1050, as well as a new off-road oriented version for 2023. The new 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE replaces the 1050XT model, and adds new features to make it a more capable off-road machine such as a 21-inch front wheel, longer-stroke suspension, and a larger aluminum bash plate. Both models remain powered by a 1037cc V-Twin engine, but for 2023, Suzuki introduced new hollow sodium-filled exhaust valves, claiming reduced temperature in the combustion chamber, and thus improved efficiency and durability.
