Suzuki RM description

Howdy, got my 2002 Suzuki RM250 dirt bike up for sale, great bike with super low hours. Just replaced the top end - cylinder has a 1yr warranty on a new plating, new Weisco piston/rings- (best piston for these bikes), gaskets and bearings. Only put 2 tanks of gas through it since the rebuild, running really strong. Looked like it was the 1st time the top end was done! Also put in some Boyesen Power Reeds with the top end. Rear shock was just rebuilt last week with new oil and seals, the front and rear suspension was done by Enzo earlier as well. Tires are about 90% tread left, super fresh, Carbon Fiber Side Plates, fresh UNI filter, spark plug, grips, handlebars, cables, fluids, drive chain, paddle tire and more. Definitely not beat, this bike is in really terrific shape, probably as many hours as my buddys 2012. Got some videos of it:http://youtu.be/2W1T1eA2-3A Copy and paste that for a quick run down on the bike http://youtu.be/CldFM_WG8xUA Copy and paste that to see a Ride Around the BlockMight be able to throw in some gear as well, have a helmet, pants, jersey and some Alpinestar Tech eight Size 12 that are still in great shape. LAST YEAR OF GREEN STICKER :) Has a 2013 Green Sticker for it now, CA Title in hand, Come get it! Pick up only!

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

Stafford Bric-a-Brac. Misery and Sadness in excess

Just got back from the Stafford show. It was packed. Largely with groups of silver-haired men.

Moto3. Recession racers?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
