Engine
Compact and lightweight 4-stroke, 249cc, fuel-injected, DOHC engine is modified for increased reliability. It provides outstanding performance across an incredibly wide powerband.

Transmission
A new transmission provides smoother and crisper shifting. The clutch's cam release has also been modified for lighter operation and enhanced feel.
Chassis
The front fork inner tube diameter has been increased from 47mm to 48mm further improving stability and absorption. The spring pre-load is now adjustable, which allows a wider range of adjustment for any level of rider.

2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.

The bike has been produced since 1999 and is clearly not going to rest - the new "Busa" will take into account the disadvantages of modern motorcycles and get smarter. The company President Toshihiro Suzuki stirred up the public, saying that the new motorcycle will appear at the end of next year.
