2004 Suzuki RM85. Bike is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I travel back and forth to the Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley) and can arrange a delivery for $50. Otherwise, it is available for pickup in Lake Havasu. Motor has just been completely rebuilt with new crank, steel sleeved std bore cylinder, forged Wiseco piston, Barnett clutch, auxiliary Acerbis tank, chain, sprockets, air cleaner, etc. Ridden two times since rebuild, and runs and rides excellent. Schwantz Rides Suzuki RGV500 2-Stroke At Goodwood
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Grand Prix Champion, rode his iconic #34 Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend. Celebrating its 20 year, FoS, the world’s largest motoring garden party, held in West Sussex, U.K., brings together present and past dignitaries of both motorcycle and auto racing. The three-day event attracted upwards of 150,000 spectators this year.
Suzuki Provides Aid Following Chinese Earthquake
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Suzuki is providing 10 million yen (US$100,500) in aid to the Red Cross Society to provide support for those affected by the April 20 earthquake in China’s Sichuan province. Suzuki‘s pledge is in addition to 1 million RMB (US$161,000) donated by Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., a Suzuki joint venture with China’s Changan Group. The region in southwestern China was hit by a major tremor at about 8 o’clock in the morning, local time.
2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.
