Up for auction is my 1996 RM 250 2-stroke dirtbike. This bike is in great condition and is ready to race or trail ride. The bike has new plastic all the way around as well as a new seat and radiator hoses. This bike has recently had the top end rebuilt with less than 5 hours of time on it. It also has a new front tire and the rear tire is at about 80%. This bike starts and runs great and is scary fast. I really don't want to sell it but I have other expenses to take care of so I have no choice, my loss is your gain. I have strictly used this bike for trail riding and have taken great care of it. I will provide a bill of sale to the winning bidder. Local pickup only but I will consider delivery up to 50 miles max for an additional price. Mon, 10 Jun 2013Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another
Mon, 13 Jan 2014After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
