This bike was stripped to the bones and redone for riding/racing in vintage events. All new Bearings, all new seals, New piston, connecting rod, rod bearings,complete powdercoat on frame and all other painted parts. New O-ring Chain, sprockets, grips, bars, levers, cables, front fender, rear fender, seat foam, seat cover, side panels, number plate, chain guides and pads New Pivot Brake lever and new quick adjust clutch lever. You name it this bike has it. built as a racer not a museum piece. Also have a 1982 complete motor which will fit in this bike with different front motor mounts. All parts other than piston/connecting rod kit are original Suzuki Parts. This bike was redone meticulously to be as reliable and fast as possible. Other Than bore of cylinder this bike is stock. I have more than the buy it now price into this bike in parts and powdercoat alone. not including original purchase price.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles

More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
